The University of Kentucky softball team has announced that a meeting for all interested in open tryouts for the 2018 season will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. ET inside the conference room of the UK Soccer/Softball offices on Wild Cat Ct. in Lexington.
The tryout session is open to all full-time, academically-eligible UK students. Those interested are required to attend the meeting to discuss tryout protocol and collect necessary paperwork.
The student will be required to have the following completed before the tryout (not the administrative meeting): a current physical, sickle cell test and full-time enrollment verification.
It is preferred, but not required, the student is registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center. To register, visit: www.ncaaeligibilitycenter.org.
