Kentucky baseball is gearing up to face Indiana State in a three-game series set to open late Friday afternoon at Kentucky Proud Park. The Wildcats are hoping to continue their winning streak and secure their third series win in as many attempts.

With rain in the forecast for Friday, fans are advised to check UKathletics.com and the team’s social media accounts for any changes to this weekend’s schedule.

The Wildcats have been in fine form recently, having trounced previously unbeaten Morehead State in their last game. In the past two games, they have outscored their opponents 30-1, with junior infielder Reuben Church putting in a standout performance on Tuesday. He notched a career-high four hits and safely reached base in all six plate appearances.

Kentucky has already won its first two series, with both ending in 2-1 victories. As they continue to rack up wins, the team is looking to build momentum before facing the challenges of the Southeastern Conference gauntlet. Last weekend, they defeated Wright State, a team that had made an NCAA Regional in each of the past two tournaments.

The Wildcats will be facing a tough opponent in Indiana State, which has a record of 3-4 so far this season. Kentucky will need to be at their best to secure the series win, but they will have the home advantage with the games being played at Kentucky Proud Park.
