Georgetown College football celebrates the end of 2017 spring practices with the annual Orange & Black scrimmage 7 pm Thursday. Senior captains will divide up the teams Tuesday evening and in the 120th game, Orange will be looking to even the series once again. Black leads 60-59. Kickoff is set for 7 pm and the gates open at 6 pm. Admission is free.
The evening will also give the entire Tiger athletic department a chance to honor, recognize and celebrate another banner year with the GC Awards – acknowledgment of all the hard work, dedication and success of all student-athletes and coaches with special awards voted on by our student body.
Four awards will be handed out at each of the breaks – between first and second quarter, halftime and third and fourth quarters.
Coach Bill Cronin will also have his 2018 rookie class in attendance for the first chance for Tiger Nation to welcome them as a group.
