For the second-straight week, Campbellsville’s Hunter Brown was voted as the Mid-South Conference Bluegrass Division Offensive Player of the Week, conference officials released on Monday.
This is Brown’s third career player of the week recognition and second of the season.
In a 51-33 victory over Point University this past Saturday, Brown threw for 380 yards and had five touchdowns passes. This is the second-straight week, the senior threw for over 350 yards after recording 383 passing yards during the first week of the season.
Against the Skyhawks, Brown completed 32 of his 49 passing attempts and did not throw an interception.
Brown ranks third in the NAIA with 757 yards of total offense and 763 passing yards, while completing 67.6 percent of his passes this season.
Campbellsville returns home this weekend to host Warner University at noon ET on Saturday afternoon from Citizens Bank Field at Finley Stadium
Rounding out the MSC Bluegrass Division weekly honors are Trent Mueller of Lindsey Wilson College (defensive) and Cameron Oshodi from Georgetown College (special teams).
