Four members of the Kentucky men’s basketball team have been honored with postseason accolades by the Southeastern Conference (SEC) coaches, led by senior guard Antonio Reeves being named Co-Sixth Man of the Year. Reeves shares the honor with Alabama’s Jahvon Quinerly.

In addition to Reeves’ award, Oscar Tshiebwe was named to the All-SEC First Team for the second consecutive season, while Chris Livingston and Cason Wallace earned spots on the All-Freshman Team.

Tshiebwe is leading the country with 13.1 rebounds per game and also averages 16.4 points per game, making him the only player in the nation averaging at least 15 points, 10 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game. With his most recent award, Tshiebwe becomes the first Wildcat to earn All-SEC First Team honors in consecutive seasons since Patrick Patterson in 2009 and 2010.

Livingston has played in all 31 games, starting 23 and averaging 6.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. The Ohio native has been impressive in the final stretch of the season, scoring in double digits in four of the last eight games. Wallace, on the other hand, ranks fourth on the team with 11.7 points per game and leads the Wildcats with 122 total assists and 56 steals.

Reeves has been a valuable player for Kentucky, coming off the bench or starting games. He averages 14.2 points per game and has made 71 three-pointers so far this season, leading the team in both categories. Reeves scored a career-high 37 points in the regular-season finale against Arkansas, making him the player with the most points in a true road game under head coach John Calipari.

In addition to these honors, CJ Fredrick was named to the SEC Community Service team for his remarkable service in the community.

These awards bring the total number of All-SEC first- or second-team accolades earned by players coached by Calipari to 34, with at least one player named to the All-SEC Freshman Team in each of his 14 seasons, totaling 31 honors.

Overall, these honors reflect the strong performance of the Kentucky men’s basketball team this season, and the dedication and hard work of each player recognized by the SEC coaches.
