Last night a star emerged in Madison Square Garden in NYC as Tyrese Maxey helped #2 Kentucky upset #1 Michigan State in historic fashion. The highly anticipated season opener on the big stage had the basketball world bear witness to show put on by the freshman in his first collegiate game, hitting big shots, grabbing rebounds, getting to the line and was clutch down the stretch.
With his 26 point performance along with 5 rebounds and making 9 of 10 free throws, the future look bright for the Wildcats and has put Maxey in discussion for NBA Draft 2020 prospects.
