There was very little movement in the upper echelon of either Division II national men’s basketball polls this week as Bellarmine remained the consensus No. 1 after going 2-0 last week.

The top six teams in the NABC Division II Coaches Rankings remained the same, and the National Media Poll conducted by the Division II sports information directors saw no movement in its top seven.

Bellarmine was still the unanimous No. 1 in the NABC and claimed 12 of the 16 votes in the D2SIDA poll. The top seven in both polls included the same teams–Bellarmine followed by Northwest Missouri State, Indiana (Pa.), Saint Anselm, Valdosta State, Southern Nazarene, and West Texas A&M. (Valdosta State and Southern Nazarene were switched in the two polls.)

Two other Great Lakes Valley Conference teams were represented in the polls with Lewis debuting at No. 17 in the National Media Poll while Indianapolis came in at No. 25 in the NABC rankings.

Future Bellarmine opponent Barry was slotted in the No. 16 position in the NABC list and was ranked No. 25 by the SIDs.

Bellarmine returns to action on Saturday, hosting Christian Brothers at 3 p.m.
