Asia Durr scored 25 points to lead Louisville women’s basketball to a 102-62 victory over UT Martin Tuesday night at the KFC YUM! Center.
The Cardinals improve to 9-0 with the win, while the Skyhawks fall to 5-3.
Louisville led 7-6 three minutes into the game and then went on an 11-0 run and never looked back. They finished the first quarter with a 31-14 lead after shooting 52 percent in the opening stanza.
The Cardinals closed out the second half on a 22-2 run and held UT Martin without a field goal during that stretch.
Louisville forced 14 turnovers in the first half and recorded 15 assists on 21 baskets. The Cardinals finished with their most first half points and the largest halftime lead of the season, 58-23.
UT Martin scored the first bucket of the second half to trim the lead to 33, but would not get closer the rest of the way as the Cardinals cruised to a 102-62 win.
Durr scored her 25 points on 8-18 shooting, 3-6 from 3-pt range, and tallied five rebounds for Louisville. Arica Carter finished with 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
Bionca Dunham finished with 14 points, while Dana Evans finished with 11 points, five assists and a season-high five rebounds.
Sam Fuehring had 10 rebounds for her second double-digit rebound game of the season, while also contributing nine points.
The Cardinals won back-to-back 100-plus point games for the first time since December 2013 and for the third time in program history. This is the first time the back-to-back victories have both been at home.
Louisville hosts in-state rival Kentucky at the KFC YUM! Center on Sunday at 2 p.m.
