With few upsets in last week’s NCAA Division II action, the rankings didn’t show much movement this week as the top six teams in each of the two national polls remained the same, meaning the Bellarmine Knights hold onto their No. 3 position.

The National Association of Basketball Coaches and the National Media Poll are unanimous in their top three: Northwest Missouri State, Nova Southeastern and Bellarmine.

One of the biggest movers of the week was the University of Indianapolis, Bellarmine’s opponent on Tuesday. The Greyhounds moved up four spots from No. 17 to No. 13 in the NABC rankings and from 16th to 13th in the National Media Poll.

The Great Lakes Valley Conference and the Midwest Region are well represented. The GLVC actually occupies three of the top 13 spots as Southern Indiana checks in at No. 9 in both polls. Three other teams from the Midwest Region also make an appearance in the rankings: Ashland, Ferris State and Walsh.

Bellarmine’s only game this week is Tuesday’s tilt at Indianapolis.
