Louisville WBB’s Asia Durr, Hines-Allen Voted to ACC All-Tournament Team

University of Louisville women’s basketball’s Asia Durr and Myisha Hines-Allen were voted by the media to the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Basketball All-Tournament Team on Sunday.

Durr, a first-team selection, averaged 23.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. The sophomore scored more than 25 points in the quarterfinal and semifinal games and carried the third-best scoring average in the tournament in Conway, S.C. She shot 44.8 percent (13 of 29) from 3, averaging 4.3 per contest that ranked second best.

Hines-Allen earned second-team honors after producing 17.7 points on 59.5 percent shooting and 9.3 rebounds over the three-game stretch. She ranked 11th in scoring, fourth rebounding, and ninth in field goal percentage.

Louisville was one of three schools with multiple selections.

The No. 14 Cardinals (27-7) are idle for the week and now await their NCAA Tournament fate. The 2017 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship bracket will be announced on March 13 on ESPN at 7 p.m.
