Scott County 6’7 sophomore, Michael Moreno, picked up his 2nd division one offer this past weekend. Moreno picked up an offer from IUPUI, to go along with his previous offer from Bradley. Moreno was recently named a first team all state performer in Kentucky after averaging 21.8 points per game and pulling down 10 rebounds per game for the Cardinals.
Moreno plays on the travel circuit with Indiana Elite, part of the Adidas Gauntlet series. Indiana Elite in the 16u BLUE Division this past weekend ran through the competition and took home the crown. En route to the title Moreno helped lead them to wins over Garner Road, Cali Boost, Dream Vision and a 24 point win over D1 Minnesota in the championship. Lexington Christian sophomore Kyle Rode is also on the Indiana Elite team.
