The Kentucky State University women’s basketball program will host three separate Terrance Slater’s Women’s Basketball Camp throughout the summer at the Exum Center.

The camp season will tipoff with “Team Camp,” spanning June 10-11. These camps will focus on team fundamentals with offensive and defensive structure while working on individual skill sets with coach Slater and his staff. Teams will have the opportunity to choose which day they wish to participate in the camp on either the 10th or the 11th. Ages span from 10-15 years old when it comes to teams signing up for the camp. Each squad will play three guarantee games, with a 20-minute running clock.

From June 19-21 coach Slater will host a day camp open to ages ranging from 6-12. While working on fundamentals, participants will play various games with opportunities to win prizes. Lunch will be provided all three days to campers if they choose not to bring their lunch.

Lastly, on August 5 will be the “Elite Camp,” inviting all those who are interested in advancing their basketball careers from middle school to high school, or high school to the collegiate level. Top prospects are encouraged to sign up early to solidify a spot for the one day camp.

Prices vary between three separate camps, and all those interested can visit www.terranceslatercamps.com for more information and to sign up. Other questions can be directed at terrance.slater@kysu.edu or 270-597-5972.
