For the third-straight ranking period, the Campbellsville men’s basketball team continues to sit in the receiving votes section of the NAIA Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The Tigers moved down one place and is now five spots outside of the top 25 with 13 voting points this week. Campbellsville is currently 19-7 on the season and is sixth in the Mid-South Conference at 4-6.

University of Pikeville is highest rated Mid-South team in the national ranking and moved up to No. 3 overall. The Bears are tied with William Penn University with 202 points and they lead the MSC with a conference mark of 8-2, while sitting at 24-2 overall.

Lindsey Wilson College slipped to No. 9 with 158 points and is 21-4 on the season. Georgetown College is one place out of the top 10 and ranks 11th in the national poll with 150 points and a record of 21-4.

Life University climbed up to No. 21 with 73 points, while sitting at 18-8 on the year and University of the Cumberlands moved down into a tie for 24th after grabbing 54 points. The Patriots are 18-7 on the season. Lindsey Wilson, Georgetown and Life are all tied for second in the MSC at 6-4, while Cumberlands is fifth with a 5-5 record.

The Master’s College leads the ranking this week with all nine first-place votes and 219 points, followed by Louisiana State University Shreveport with 211 voting points. Columbia College rounds out the top five with 191 total points.

Campbellsville is back in action on Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET as it travels to Shawnee State University.

The next regular-season poll is set be released on Tuesday, Feb. 27
