The Mercer County High School Lady Titans solidified their place in hoop history with a 74-34 beatdown of Mercy in the the St Elizabeth Healthcare KHSAA Sweet 16 state championship game for the second year in a row. Leading 52-14 at halftime the Lady Titans increased the lead to 74-34 by the end of the contest.

The Lady Titans were lead by Lexy Lake and Emma Davis both of who scored 17 points. Last year’s championship MVP was Mercer County’s Seygan Robins who was held to just 8 points in this year’s title game. The Lady Titans finished the season 36-3.

No players scored in double figures for Mercy with Taziah Jenks scoring just 9 points. Mercy finished the season 25-10
