Eastern Kentucky University’s women’s golf team placed 15th at the Reynolds Lake Oconne Invitational hosted by Mercer University.

The 17-teams competed at the par 72, 6,111-yard Reynolds Lake Oconee – National Course.

EKU (959) finished four shots in front of Bradley (963) and 17 behind 14th place Delaware (942).  Sixth ranked Vanderbilt (881) won the event by 12 shots over second place and host Mercer (893).  Texas Tech (896) was third.

Seniors Elsa Moberly and Amanda Lindahl led the Colonels and tied for 64th overall in a field of 105 players.  Both players concluded with 54-hole totals of 237 (+21).

Samantha Sandland (248) tied for 89th and Ragnhildur Kristinsdottir (249) tied for 92nd.  Hannabeth Owens (252) placed 95th.

The Colonels will be back in action on March 4-5 at the UNF Collegiate hosted by the University of North Florida at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.
