Louisville MGOLF Ready for Regular-Season Finale at Aggie Invitational

The University of Louisville men’s golf team, ranked No. 33, is set to conclude its regular season with a strong performance at the Aggie Invitational. The two-day tournament, taking place on Monday and Tuesday, will be held at the challenging par-72, 7,227-yard Traditions Club.

The 13-team field is headlined by seven teams from the Lone Star State, including Texas A&M, Baylor, TCU, North Texas, Houston, Sam Houston, and UTSA. Louisville will face fierce competition as they go up against the formidable No. 14 Texas A&M and No. 24 Baylor.

Currently ranked No. 33 in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division I Coaches Poll and No. 34 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Collegiate Ranking presented by StrackaLine and the Golfstat Ranking, the Cardinals look to improve their standing with a solid showing at the Aggie Invitational.

Louisville’s Max Kennedy will be seeking his fifth-straight top-10 finish this week, leading the team with an impressive 71.15 stroke average. Teammates Sebastian Moss, Jiri Zuska, Mads Roddick, and Walker Franklin will join Kennedy in rounding out the top five for the Cardinals.

The Cardinals are fresh off their best performance of the spring season, having tied for second place at the All-American Invitational and secured fourth place at the General Hackler in their last two events.

The 54-hole Aggie Invitational will feature two rounds of play on Monday, with the final 18 holes scheduled for Tuesday. Tee times are set between 7:30-9:30 a.m. both days, with Louisville beginning their tournament at 8:50 a.m. EST, paired with host Texas A&M and Baylor.

With a talented roster and recent strong performances, the No. 33 University of Louisville men’s golf team is well-prepared to tackle the demanding course at the Aggie Invitational and conclude their regular season on a high note.
