The No. 9 Kentucky Wildcats clinched a hard-fought 13-6 victory against the Dayton Flyers on Tuesday night at Kentucky Proud Park, with 3,274 fans in attendance, marking the largest crowd of the season. This win extends Kentucky’s impressive streak to 22 victories in their last 23 games and an 18-1 home record this season.

Emilien Pitre played a pivotal role in securing the win, delivering a two-out, two-run go-ahead single that ignited a four-run sixth inning for the Wildcats. The team followed up with an additional five runs in the seventh inning. Nolan McCarthy contributed four RBIs and three hits, while Hunter Gilliam extended his hit streak to 22 games.

The game featured a multitude of pitchers from both sides as the Wildcats continued their winning momentum. Kentucky’s overall record now stands at 26-3, with an 8-0 record in midweek games this season.
