The Kentucky State University volleyball team dropped a non-conference match in straight sets, 25-16, 25-15, 25-19 to Georgetown College Tuesday at Davis-Reid Alumni Gymnasium.
The Thorobreds (4-12) takes on Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action this weekend traveling to Central State for the SIAC West Cluster. Kentucky State will play Tuskegee 9 a.m. Friday, Lane 3 p.m. Friday and Lemoyne-Owen 5 p.m. Friday.
Senior Arlandria Greathouse (Crowley, TX) registered a team-high 10 kills on 18 attempts, marking the fourth time this season the outside hitter reached double figures in the category. She added three solo blocks, a block assist and four digs.
Sophomore Amanda Moore (Caddo Mills, TX) led the team with 12 assists, and has reached double figures in 14 of the team’s 16 matches.
Sophomore Robin Poole (Katy, TX) finished with a team-high eight digs, while freshmen Khirra Kenney (Indianapolis, IN) and Alliyah Williams (Sugar Land, TX) both had seven digs each.
