Northern Kentucky women’s golf team is set to close its fall docket in the 36-hole Charles Braun Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Evansville. This will be the sixth-straight year the Norse will travel to compete at Oak Meadow Country Club in Evansville, Indiana.
Macy Wright, Kylie Lysack, Lillian Young, Caitlyn Tasney and Delaney Welsh form NKU’s team in the tournament. Erin Durstock and Kathryn Doss will tee it up as individuals.
History at the Charles Braun
The Norse have found success in Evansville with a top-5 finish or better in the past four seasons. Additionally, last season Lillian Young came out firing as a freshman shooting 74 to earn a tie for second place.
The par-72, 6,032-yard Oak Meadow Country Club hosts the Charles Braun Intercollegiate Oct. 22-23. A 10 a.m. shotgun start will commence both 18-hole rounds.
A total of 13 teams will tee it up Monday morning, with Butler, Central Michigan, Eastern Illinois, Evansville, Green Bay, UIC, Illinois State, Indiana State, IUPUI, Southern Illinois, Tennessee State and Valparaiso joining Northern Kentucky.
