The Thomas More University men’s golf team finished third at the Virtues Fall Shoot Out hosted by Denison University today (Monday, October 22, 2018) as it carded a 643 (318-325) at the Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.
RESULTS:
- Senior Matt Striegel (Cold Spring, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) finished tied for fourth with a 155 (74-81).
- Junior Kyle Alexander (Taylorsville, Ky./Spencer County) finished 15th with a 160 (81-79).
- First-year Landon Finn (Florence, Ky./Boone County) carded a 162 (83-79) to finish 17th.
- Junior Zack Baynum (California, Ky./Campbell County) finished tied for 19th with a 166 (80-86).
- Sophomore Robby Case IV (Crestview Hills, Ky./Covington Latin) finished tied for 30th with a 172 (86-86).
NOTEABLES:
- Thomas More had five Saints compete at individuals.
- Junior Jacob Zai (Cold Spring, Ky./Bishop Brossart) finished tied for 33rd with a 174 (91-83).
- Sophomore Nick Drake (Bowling Green, Ky./South Warren) finished 35th with a 175 (93-82).
- First-year Tyler Sansom (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) finished 43rd with a 186 (97-89).
- Junior Blake Baioni (California, Ky./Campbell County) finished tied for 44th with a 191 (91-100).
- First-year Sebastian Sims (Maineville, Ohio/Little Miami) finished 47th with a 197 (101-96).
