Murray State women’s tennis head coach Jorge Caetano announced the 2019 spring schedule on Wednesday.  Eight home matches and a tournament in Mobile, Alabama, highlight 2019 MSU tennis.
The Racers will compete in five of their seven home matches at the Kenlake Tennis Center in Hardin, Kentucky, to begin the frosty spring season. Murray State looks to kick off the 2019 campaign against NAIA opponent Cumberland University at Kenlake on Feb. 3.
Murray State will be well traveled following the season, as their 2019 schedule has them hitting the road for 13 matches away from Murray. The Racers take on their first two road trips of the year when they travel to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to take on Middle Tennessee (Feb. 10) before taking on Saint Louis (Feb. 15). MSU will be back on the road against Georgia Southern (Feb. 23), Kennesaw State (Feb. 24), and Southern Indiana (Mar. 16).
The Racers then anticipate embarking on a neutral site mid-March tournament in Mobile, Alabama, to take on Louisiana Tech Mar. 18 followed by consecutive matches against Florida A&M and Central Arkansas on Mar. 19.

Murray State looks to round out its regular season with Ohio Valley Conference action on the road against foes Tennessee State (Mar. 22), Belmont (Mar. 23), and Jacksonville State (Mar. 30).  MSU will follow with three home conference matches against foes UT Martin (Apr. 5), SEMO (Apr. 6), before traveling to Illinois for the last road trip of the season to take on SIUE (Apr. 12) and Eastern Illinois (Apr. 13). The Racers will return home to host rival Austin Peay in the Heritage Bank Battle of the Border (Apr. 19) to wrap up the regular-season at Bennie Purcell Courts in Murray, Kentucky.
