Eastern Kentucky University’s women’s basketball team welcomes the Patriots of George Mason University to McBrayer Arena on Sunday. 

Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. The game will air live on ESPN+.

This will be the third of three Toy Drive Games at EKU.  Fans can receive FREE admission with the donation of a new, unopened toy.  One ticket per donation, limit one per person.


–  The all-time series is tied 1-1.

–  George Mason won last year’s meeting, 64-41.

–  The first ever meeting between the two teams was in 1980.


–  Eastern Kentucky won its first game of the season against Kentucky Christian, 90-35, on Wednesday.

–  Abby Wright scored a season-high 22 points along with eight rebounds against Kentucky Christian. 

–  Teri Goodlett dropped a career-high 12 assists in the win against KCU. 

–  Shay Solomon posted a career-high six steals against the Knights.

–  EKU ranks 5th in the conference in three-point field goal defense.

–  The Colonels out rebounded the Knights 50-29.


–  George Mason defeated the University of Delaware, 72-46, on Thursday.

–  The Patriots are led by Nicole Cardano-Hillary, who is averaging a team-high 19.8 points per game.

–  Camarie Gatling had a team-high 17 points in the win against Delaware.

–  Jacy Bolton is averaging a team-best 8.1 rebounds per game on the year. 

– The Patriots are averaging 18.8 turnovers per game.

– GMU is scoring 68.1 points per game this season.  


Eastern Kentucky returns to the court next Dec. 15 to take on West Virginia in Charleston, after a week off for finals. Tip is scheduled for 4 p.m.
