2015 Kentucky State Champion, ESPN top 100 player and 4 star recruit, Aric Holman committed to coach Ben Howland & Mississippi State Wednesday morning.
Holman, A top 25 forward in the nation dominated the Kentucky Sweet 16 and helped Owensboro win the 2015 state title opened eyes of many college coaches and scouts in attendance with his dominant and versatile game.
Holman had 14 Division 1 offers including Louisville, Cincinnati, , Texas, VCU but made the decision shortly after the title to attend Hargrave Military Academy, a prep school after graduation.
Ultimately Holman’s great play in the Adidas AAU circuit with HoopDreams put Holman on many more school’s radars.
At 6’9″ 200lbs Holman joins elite guard Malik Newman to hoist MSU’s 2015 class to #19 overall and #5 in the SEC.
