The No. 2-ranked Kentucky women’s track and field team advanced to five running finals, which will take place on Saturday, at the NCAA Outdoor Championship in front of 9,027 fans at Oregon’s Hayward Field on Thursday.
The Wildcats will have six scoring opportunities to score points on Saturday, the final day of the meet. The women’s team will have off on Friday, when the men’s competition concludes.
The Wildcats did not score points from any of their three field-event scoring opportunities on Thursday.

Camacho-Quinn came back an hour later and ran the top qualifying time of the 100m hurdles semifinal: 12.75Q (+1.7) to advance. The redshirt freshman also made the 200m final on time running 23.20 (+0.3) to advance on time as she was third in her heat.
Freshman Kianna Gray ran 11.20Q (+1.3), the No. 3 qualifying time, to make her first NCAA final in the 100m.
Kiah Seymour made the 400m hurdles final, running 55.89 to make the final on time as she was third in her heat. The time was the third fastest qualifying time overall.
Points are scored at the NCAA Championships by finishing in the top eight of each event. The points are awarded on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis with 10 going to the winner and one point to eighth place.
