Kentucky Volleyball Reveals SEC Slate

The Kentucky volleyball program unrolled the second half of its schedule on Monday afternoon, revealing nine home Southeastern Conference matches for the 2016 season.
 
After releasing their out-of-conference schedule earlier last month, the Wildcats will kick off their SEC competition Sept. 21, hosting Georgia in Memorial Coliseum at 8 p.m. Kentucky then welcomes Mississippi State, Sept. 25 at 1:30 p.m.
 
UK will take to the road for three straight afterwards, playing Florida (Sept. 28, 8 p.m.), South Carolina (Oct. 2, 1:30 p.m.) and its second meeting of the season with Mississippi State (Oct. 7, 8 p.m.) before returning home.
 
Kentucky follows the road trip with its longest home stand of the season, hosting Tennessee (Oct. 9, 2 p.m.), Arkansas (Oct. 14, 7 p.m.), Ole Miss (Oct. 16, 1:30 p.m.) and South Carolina (Oct. 21, 7 p.m.) over the two week span.
 
Kentucky will follow the home stand playing five of its next six matches on the road. Kentucky will begin the trip against Missouri, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. in Columbia, Mo., before facing the pair of Alabama opponents in Alabama and Auburn in their respective arenas. UK returns home for a home match with Missouri at Noon, Nov. 6, before taking on Arkansas and Ole Miss the following week.
 
Kentucky will play two of its final three regular season matches within the friendly confines of Memorial Coliseum. UK will host LSUNov. 18 at 7 p.m. and Texas A&M Nov. 20 at 1:30 p.m. before traveling to Knoxville, Tenn., at 9 p.m. to face the Volunteers in the regular season finale.
