Eastern Kentucky University’s Sofie Levin and Amanda Lindahl were chosen as the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Female Co-Golfers of the Week on Wednesday. The duo tied for first overall while leading the women’s golf team to its fourth title of the season at the 2017 ORU/SFA Spring Break Invitational.
Lindahl, a sophomore from Ulricehamn, Sweden, moved from a tie for third to a tie for first with a final round 2-under score of 70. That followed rounds of 76 and 72. She had a three-round total 218.
Levin, a senior from Stockholm, Sweden, began the event with a 3-under round of 69 and then shot 77 and 72 to finish tied for first.
As a team, Eastern won by 11 shots over second place Northern Colorado at the 16-team event. EKU will play in the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate hosted by Georgia State on March 26-28.
