The University of Louisville track and field teams wrapped up the Louisville Invitational with eight wins, two school records and 34 top five finishers. Emmonnie Henderson set a new school record in the shot put while the women’s 4×100 meter relay team also set a new school record. The women finished second with 165 points while the men finished third with 134.5 points.

“We had an outstanding weekend of track and field at Cardinal Park,” said head coach Dale Cowper. “I’m very impressed with the way our squads are coming together and look forward to seeing all events firing at 100 percent in four weeks at the ACC Championships.”
