Louisville Women’s Golf Remains Tied for Eighth at Clemson Invitational

The University of Louisville women’s golf team is in a four-way tie for eighth through two rounds of play on Saturday at the Clemson Invitational in Sunset, S.C.

The Cardinals carded a 3-over-par 297 for a two-day score of 12-over-par 588, the same total as Ohio State, Clemson, and Tennessee. Louisville plays its final round at The Reserve at Lake Keowee on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. ET.

Molly Skapik continues to lead the Cardinals. The junior shot a 2-over-par 73 in the second round and is tied for 21st, with an even-par 144. She has a team-high six birdies in the tournament.

Olivia Cason remains tied for 27th and holds a 1-over-par 145. She, along with Lauren Hartlage, shot a 1-under on Saturday. The sophomore, Cason has registered 28 pars through 36 holes for the second-most tallies in the field.

Hartlage climbed 20 spots with her performance and is tied for 31st. The freshman, who has a 3-over-par 147, now has a team-leading 13 rounds.

Jacqueline Twitty rounds out the top-four scorers. She is tied for 65th, with an 8-over-par 152.
