For the second-straight year, the University of Louisville men’s golf program was honored as a Golf Coaches Association All-Academic Team, the organization announced on Wednesday.

The Cardinals were one of 39 programs in all of collegiate golf to earn President’s Special Recognition status, which recognizes teams with a 3.5 grade point average or higher.

This season, the Cardinals received President’s Special Recognition – joining Duke as the only other ACC school to receive this distinguished honor.

Last year, the Cardinals were one of 41 schools to receive academic accolades, and the only school in the league to be recognized.

In order to qualify as an All-Academic Team, a program must post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the season.
