The University of Louisville’s Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff and Parker Wynn have advanced to the doubles finals of the 2017 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regional with a win over Jan Pallares and Felix Rauch from Memphis Sunday afternoon at Tennessee’s Goodfriend Tennis Center.

“Parker and Chris played a complete doubles match today,” said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. “They made a high first serve percentage and return percentage. They made good decisions on the fly as well. They played at a high level and hope it continues in the Finals. We hope to earn our second double regional title in program history.”

The 29th-ranked duo of junior Morin-Kougoucheff (Capbreton, France) and sophomore Wynn (North Richland Hills, Texas) defeated seventh-seeded Pallares and Rauch 8-5 in the semifinals. Monday’s title match will feature a battle of the tournament’s top two seeded pairs as the second-seeded Cardinals will take on top-seeded – and 16th-ranked Lachlan McPhee and Billy Rowe from Vanderbilt.
