Junior Dante Johnson of Kentucky State University men’s track and field was named to the SIAC All-Conference team, announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Johnson, a first-year transfer from Lindsey Wilson College, experienced a stand out first season with the Thorobred program as he finished as the top runner in the men’s 400-meter hurdles. He accomplished his season best time back on Mar. 24 in the Raleigh Relays, finishing with a time of 53.82.
Along with his fellow teammates from both the men’s and women’s side, Johnson will compete in the SIAC Track & Field Championships from May 4-6 at Hugh Mills Stadium on the campus of Albany State University in Albany, Georgia.
