Kentucky State University volleyball continued its hot trend against conference opponents with a 3-0 sweep of rival Central State University on Tuesday night at the Exum Center.

The Thorobrettes (20-10, 13-4) have now won seven out of their last nine matches, including four of those coming against SIAC competition. The win marks the fifth straight season KSU has climbed the 20-win plateau dating back to 2013. The Lady Marauders (5-17, 5-12) have lost 10 of their last 12 matches, dating back to Sept. 29.

Freshman outside hitter Makayla Martin picked up her 10th match of 2017 of double-digit kills with a team-high 13. The Combine, Texas native also led the home squad with five aces and two blocks.
