The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have announced senior Neal Wells and freshman Jeremy Kimbrough of Kentucky State University men’s golf with conference honors.
Wells, a native of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky was named to the SIAC All-Tournament team after leading the Thorobreds through the two-day championship tournament. Wells shot a 225 over three rounds, including a 73 in the second Wells’ performance helped KSU come away with a third-place finish.
Kimbrough, a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee was named to the SIAC All-Conference second team for his performance over the duration of his first year in the Capitol City. Kimbrough turned in a top-notch showing in the conference championship, shooting a 72 in the final round, marking the top performance of any Thorobred in the three rounds of play in late April.
