The Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball team will face Prairie View A&M on Monday in the Middleweight Bracket of the MGM Resorts Main Event. Tipoff from T-Mobile Arena is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ET.

– EKU (2-1) turned a one-point halftime deficit into a 31-point win on Thursday night, defeating Kentucky State, 97-66, in its home opener at McBrayer Arena.
– The Colonels had five double-figure scorers on Thursday night for the first time since December 10, 2016 at Ball State.
– Three Colonels recorded career highs in points against KSU: DeAndre Dishman (18), A.J. Youngman (14) and Peyton Broughton (13).
– EKU currently ranks first in the OVC and 19th in the country in free throw percentage (80.9%).
