Despite spotting Bethel University (2-1) an 11-0 lead, Georgetown College men’s basketball rallied and won handily 90-67. Quan Poindexter had 22 to lead the No. 4 Tigers (6-0). GC is back in action 6 pm Friday against No. 25 Martin Methodist College in the second annual MSC-SSAC Crossover Challenge. Other games played today were Campbellsville and Martin, with CU winning, and Pikeville and Brewton-Parker with Pikeville winning. Day one in the books and it is MSC 3, SSAC 0. Campbellsville plays the 4 pm game against BPU, while Pikeville has the nightcap at 8 pm against Bethel.
