The 2018 Eastern Kentucky University Jock N’ Roll is set for Monday, Feb. 12 at 9 p.m in Brock Auditorium.
Jock N’ Roll is an all athlete-talent show presented by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. All proceeds go towards Hoops for Heroes to send a veteran and his family to the Ohio Valley Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament.
This year’s veteran is Joshua Shaddox. He is from Washington State and served in the US Army for 20 years before retiring last June as First Sergeant. Shaddox is completing his second degree in history at Eastern Kentucky and plans to teach post-graduation.
Women’s basketball took home the title at last year’s edition, which raised just over $1,000.
Tickets to the event can be purchased in the Bratzke Center at any time, or at the door.
