The Northern Kentucky University men’s soccer team has announced the rest of its spring schedule. In addition to playing FC Cincinnati on Feb. 27, the team will host defending USL champion Louisville City FC on March 3.
“The opportunity to play two top professional organizations at home gives our players and staff an incredible learning opportunity,” said NKU head coach Stu Riddle.
NKU will host a series of college teams in March including UC Clermont, Midway, Asbury and Bellarmine.
On April 5, NKU will host Woodbridge SC, a team out of Canada. A few days later on April 7, the Norse will host USI and Campbellsville. The preseason will wrap up with the Alumni Game on April 14.
“We have a good balanced spring schedule with a wide variety of opponents that will allow us to give all of our squad members the chance to show us what they are capable of,” Riddle stated.
