Thomas More College senior Christina Cook (Indpendence, Ky./Simon Kenton) has been named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Women’s Track Athlete of the Week by the conference office.
Cook won the 400 meters at Denison University’s Bob Shannon Invitational Saturday with a time of 59.16 seconds. She also registered a time of 8.05 in the qualifying round of the 60 meters before finishing third in the finals (8.19). Cook also ran the anchor leg on the Saints’ second-place 4×400-meter relay (4:19.04).
The track & field teams return to action on February 17 when they travel to Greencastle, Indiana to compete at the DePauw University Classic.
