The University of Louisville men’s golf team returns to the course with a visit to the Bearcat Invitational at Coldstream Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.
The par-71, 7,279-yard course will feature 36 holes on the first day, followed by the final round on Tuesday. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.com.
Louisville will send a starting lineup of Jiri Zuska, Max Kennedy, Sebastian Moss, Jackson Brimfield, and Walker Franklin. C.M. Mixon and Pierce Grieve will play as individuals.
Louisville is coming off an 11-place finish at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate last week behind the play of Zuska. who carded a 7-under-par 203. The Cards shot under par as a team, firing a 278-269-284=831 on the par 70 Mirabel Golf Club.
Zuska put together the second-best overall performance of his career by shooting 67-66-70=203 to tie for 17th place – 11 shots off the lead. Caleb Surratt of Tennessee won the tournament with an 18-under-par 192.
Kennedy entered the final round at 3-under-par but shot a 2-over-par 72 to tie for 31st place, while Sebastian Moss ended play in a tie for 44th after shooting a 1-under-par 71-70-68=209. He put together the team’s top round on the final day with a 68.
Participating teams in the Bearcat Invitational will be Louisville, Kentucky, Rutgers, UNC Greensboro, Memphis, Lamar, Ball State, Illinois State, Miami (Ohio), Santa Clara, Xavier and Sam Houston State.
