A’miyah Collier is a senior guard for the Russellville High School Lady Panthers and has been a key contributor to the team’s success this season. She has a strong presence on the court and can get to the rim and score, has athletic ability along with ball handling skills.
In the 10 games played so far this season, Collier is averaging 13.6 points per game and shooting 38.7% from the field. She has had several standout performances, including a 21-point outing against Butler County and two 18-point games. These performances have helped the Lady Panthers position themselves as contenders for the 13th District title.
Collier’s success on the court is not limited to just this season. As a junior, she averaged 10.5 points per game and nearly 3 rebounds, demonstrating her consistent contributions to the team, and led the team in scoring in the 4th Region tournament. A’miyah’s hard work and dedication to improving her game and skills makes her a role model for her teammates. With her leadership and experience, she is expected to play a crucial role in helping the Lady Panthers make a run at the 4th Region tournament next spring. Coach Orlando Hayden and the rest of the Lady Panthers are fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated player on their roster and will look to her to help lead them to a successful season.
