Kade Unseld WENT OFF In King of the Bluegrass!!!

The Warren Central High School Dragons faced off against the DeSales Colts in the King of the Bluegrass basketball tournament. Leading the charge for the Dragons was junior guard Kade Unseld, who put on an impressive performance and helped secure a victory for his team.

Unseld had a game-high 24 points, shooting 10/17 from the field and 4/7 from beyond the arc. In just 23 minutes of play, he also managed to grab 6 rebounds and dish out 1 assist. His impressive shooting and all-around contribution to the game earned him Central Bank Player of the Game honors.

The Dragons went into the matchup against the Colts as the #2 ranked team in the state, and Unseld’s performance played a key role in helping them live up to that ranking. He consistently found ways to score, whether it was through outside shooting or driving to the basket. His ability to stretch the defense with his outside shooting also opened up opportunities for his teammates, who were able to capitalize on the extra space created by Unseld’s shooting.

Despite facing tough competition from the Colts, the Dragons were able to come out on top thanks in large part to Unseld’s efforts. His strong performance not only helped his team secure a win, but it also cemented his place as one of the top players in the state.

As the Dragons look to make a deep run in the tournament, they will no doubt rely on Unseld to continue to provide the scoring punch and all-around contributions that he displayed against the Colts. If he can keep up this level of play, the Dragons will be a force to be reckoned with in the coming games.

  1. He’s very efficient, and shoots over 50% from 3. He’s not even averaging 10 shots a game. He could easily average 25 if he were talking 15 shots a game. Likely to reach 6-7,6-8. Glad to see him rebounding more this year. High basketball IQ and well Cisco. He should be a 2X all state. D1 programs are already on him and he should blow up in the next year. Belmont would be a great fit for him because of their style of play and love of the 3. Belmont has beaten wku 7 straight times.
