GRAVES COUNTY
The Graves County Lady Eagles basketball team, led by coach Lyndon E. Dunning, has had a strong season so far in 2022-23. With a record of 11-3, the Lady Eagles have consistently found success on the court, with notable victories over Crittenden County (59-47), Hickman County (63-22), and North Clay (51-43).
One standout player for the Lady Eagles has been McCracken County, who has put up impressive numbers on the offensive end, scoring a total of 1116 points so far this season. The Lady Eagles have also excelled on defense, allowing just 538 points to their opponents.
Despite suffering a few losses, including a 45-50 defeat to Massac County and a 57-70 loss to Dyersburg, the Lady Eagles have remained resilient and continued to fight for victories. Most recently, they earned a 65-28 win over Mayfield.

BULLITT EAST
he Bullitt East Lady Chargers, led by head coach Chris Stallings, have had a strong season in the 6th region. With a record of 12-3, the Lady Chargers have consistently found success on the court, with notable victories over Central Hardin (66-36), Daviess County (60-49), and Southwestern (77-62).
The Bullitt East Lady Chargers have continued to excel on the court, thanks in large part to the strong performances of several players. Leading the way in scoring is Lilly Reid, who has scored 213 points in 14 games, an average of 15.2 points per game. She has been particularly effective from beyond the arc, sinking 25 three-point field goals.
Anna Rodgers has also been a key contributor for the Lady Chargers, averaging 12.7 points per game. She has scored 29 three-point field goals, the second-most on the team, and has also contributed 25 free throws. Logan Ortega rounds out the top three scorers for Bullitt East, averaging 8.3 points per game. She has scored 36 two-point field goals and 6 three-point field goals.
Overall, the Lady Chargers have a balanced scoring attack with multiple players capable of putting up points. This depth has been a key factor in their success this season and will be crucial as they continue to compete in the tough region 6 and district play.
