Coleman, a freshman standout at Jackson State last season, earned SWAC Freshman of the Year honors after catching 32 passes for 475 yards and three touchdowns. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound speedster was a four-star recruit coming out of high school, where he caught 179 passes for 3,968 yards and 56 touchdowns, in addition to recording 87 tackles and 14 interceptions as a defensive back.

Thrash, who played four seasons at Georgia State, had a productive senior year with 61 receptions for 1,122 yards and seven touchdowns. The 6-foot-0, 180-pounder recorded four 100-yard receiving games, including a school single-season best 10 receptions for 213 yards and a score in a loss to Charlotte. Thrash closed his Georgia State career with 104 catches for 1,752 yards and 12 touchdowns. A native of LaGrange, GA, Thrash was an All-state receiver in high school and earned first-team all-state honors in Class AAAA from both the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Georgia Sportswriters Association.

Both Coleman and Thrash will be enrolling in classes for the spring semester and will be available for the start of spring practice. The addition of these talented wide receivers is sure to boost the University of Louisville’s football program as they look to make a strong showing in the upcoming season.
