
University of Kentucky (UK) Athletics has announced that its student-athletes have achieved a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.243 for the fall 2022 semester. This marks the 21st straight semester that UK has surpassed its goal of a 3.0 GPA. The gymnastics team had the highest GPA among scholarship student-athletes, at 3.767, while the golf team led the way for men’s sports with a GPA of 3.578. A total of 411 Wildcats achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher, including 109 who reached a 4.0 for the semester. In November, UK student-athletes tied the school’s record for the NCAA’s Graduation Success Rate, with a mark of 92%. During the calendar year, 156 Wildcat student-athletes earned degrees or certifications, 14 of whom were master’s degree graduates.
