This impressive outing is just the latest in a string of strong performances for Johnson, who is a key player on a team that is currently 11-2 on the season and the defending state champions, having gone 36-3 last year.

In last night’s game, Johnson showed her versatility and scoring prowess on the court, making 15 two-point field goals on 18 attempts, knocking down 3 three-point field goals on 7 attempts, and making 2 of 3 free throws. This performance marks a new record for the Sacred Heart Academy program on the road at Meade County and is a testament to Johnson’s ability to take over a game.

Johnson’s impressive outing is no fluke, as she has been a key player for the Valkyries all season. In 13 games played this year, Johnson has already scored 284 points, an average of 21.8 points per game. She has scored 89 two-point field goals, 22 three-point field goals, and made 40 free throws.

Johnson has been a dominant force on the court throughout her career. As a freshman last season, she played a key role in the team’s success, averaging 17.7 points per game and leading the team in scoring and rebounding with an average of 7.6 rebounds per game. In 39 games played, Johnson scored a total of 690 points, making 227 two-point field goals, 31 three-point field goals, and 143 free throws. She was named Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year for the 2021-22 season.
