The Louisville Cardinals men’s basketball team (4-3) bounced back from a sluggish first half to defeat crosstown rival Bellarmine Knights (2-6) 73-68 at the KFC Yum! Center on Wednesday night.

Louisville trailed by five points at halftime but came alive in the second half, shooting 55% from the field and making 16 of 22 free throws. The Cardinals used a 19-3 run to take control of the game in the middle of the second half, led by sophomore guard Skyy Clark’s 21 points.
Bellarmine made a late push, cutting the lead to two points with four minutes remaining, but Louisville made nine free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
