WKU Volleyball is thrilled to invite Hilltopper Nation to join the team at its highly anticipated annual banquet scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 10, at 12 p.m. CT. The event will take place on the third floor of the Downing Student Union (DSU), offering an excellent opportunity for fans to come together and celebrate the program’s outstanding achievements throughout the 2023 calendar year.
Banquet Highlights:
- The banquet festivities kick off with a delightful buffet lunch at 12 p.m., providing attendees with a chance to enjoy a delicious meal.
- Following the luncheon, a program will unfold, dedicated to recognizing the remarkable accomplishments of the 2023 student-athletes and commemorating the program’s historic season.
- The cost of admission to the banquet is $25 per person, encompassing the buffet meal and the enriching program.
Venue and Logistics:
- Parking for attendees will be available in PS2, conveniently situated between the football stadium and Diddle Arena.
- DSU, the venue for the banquet, is located across the street from the parking structure. Attendees can access the banquet rooms (3023-3024) on the third floor via the open entrance next to the WKU Bookstore.
- Elevators are accessible for easy navigation to the banquet rooms.
Support and Sponsorship:
- Attendees have the option to contribute an additional amount to sponsor one or more meals for the players. The program’s objective is to cover the costs associated with players’ meals and awards. Any surplus funds will be directly allocated to support the Hilltopper Volleyball program.

- Payments for banquet attendance can be sent via mail to WKU Volleyball at 1605 Avenue of Champions Bowling Green, KY 42101. Checks should be made payable to WKU Volleyball. It is essential for all payments to be received prior to the banquet.
Season Recap and Achievements:
- Head coach Travis Hudson, now in his 29th season at the helm, guided the Hilltoppers to an impressive 30-5 overall record in 2023. This included a perfect 16-0 mark in Conference USA, securing both the regular season and tournament titles. The team also made a notable Second-Round appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
- WKU Volleyball, under Hudson’s leadership, currently holds the distinction of leading the nation with the most consecutive 20-win seasons, boasting an impressive streak of 24 straight.
