EKU MBB Signee Micah Davis to Play for Indiana vs Kentucky in All-Star Games

Micah Davis, who signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play basketball at Eastern Kentucky University in November, will represent Indiana in the annual Kentucky/Indiana All-Star Games.

Game Details

  • First Game: Friday at Lexington Catholic High School, Tipoff at 7:30 p.m.
  • Second Game: Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Tipoff at 7:30 p.m.

High School Achievements

  • IndyStar Mr. Basketball Finalist: One of six finalists
  • 2023-24 Season Stats:
  • Points: 25.1 per game
  • Rebounds: 5.7 per game
  • Assists: 4.3 per game
  • Steals: 1.8 per game

Davis led Franklin Community High School to an 18-5 record and a Class 4A Sectional Championship. The 6-foot-2 guard shot 53 percent from the field and 37.4 percent (43-for-115) from the 3-point line. He scored 1,296 career points in three seasons and set the school record at Franklin with 43 points in a game.

Junior Year Performance

  • Averaged: 17.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.7 steals per game
  • Recognition: Earned all-state honors and was a core member of the Junior All-Star team

EKU Basketball Achievements

  • 2023-24 Atlantic Sun Conference Regular Season Champions: First regular season conference title in 45 years

  • Honors: ASUN Coach of the Year and NABC District III Coach of the Year
