Louisville’s Sebastian Moss Earns Spot on Men’s Golf All-ACC Academic Team

The University of Louisville’s men’s golf program received a significant accolade as junior Sebastian Moss was named to the men’s golf All-ACC Academic Team, the league announced on Monday morning.

Moss, hailing from Pearland, Texas, has enjoyed an extraordinary season. Not only was he selected as an All-Atlantic Coast Conference player, but he also led the Cardinals with a team-best average score of 71.75. Moss made history by becoming the first player in Louisville’s program to win back-to-back tournaments, capturing titles at the Bearcat and Rod Myers Invitational with a combined score of 23-under-par.

Adding to his impressive list of achievements, Moss was honored with All-Region accolades last week. Throughout the season, he led the team with five top-10 finishes, including tying a school record with two tournament wins.

The academic criteria for the All-ACC Academic Team selection are stringent. Student-athletes must maintain a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during their academic career. Additionally, they must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests.

Sebastian Moss’s recognition on the All-ACC Academic Team underscores his dedication and excellence both on the course and in the classroom, marking a proud moment for Louisville’s men’s golf program.
