The sixth-ranked Kentucky rifle team will host No. 2 West Virginia for its final home match of the regular season on Saturday. The match will begin with smallbore at 9 a.m. ET.

“West Virginia is a great team and we’re excited they’re coming to town,” head coach Harry Mullins said. “We’re ready to put what we have been working on in training to the test.”
In their last match, the Wildcats lost a tough one on the road at then-No. 6-ranked Ohio State where Jason Spaude matched his career-high score (591) in air rifle. Heather Kirby fired a 596 in air rifle and claimed the top spot in the discipline.
West Virginia enters Saturday’s showdown undefeated at 10-0, 7-0 in conference matches, with an average of 4723.33.
Kentucky will host Morehead State for a NCAA Qualifier match on Saturday, Feb. 18.
